A spread axle trailer will have more distance between axles vs a standard tandem trailer there will be very little separation. A spread axle will allow you to distribute weight more evenly inside the trailer. Spread axle trailers will have a slight smoother ride.

Not necessarily. The payload does not increase with a Spread Axle Trailer. A spread axle will allow you to distribute weight throughout the trailer. Need more payload? Upgrade axle size.

Spread axles will provide a smoother ride when traveling long distances. Spread axles will be better at tracking the towing vehicle.
