About Rock Solid Cargo Trailers – Their Humble Beginning

Rock solid cargo had its early beginnings when the Wright family decided to open their own cargo trailer manufacturing company. The first Rock Solid Cargo trailer was produced in June of 2017, after they found investors and opened the manufacturing company.

The owners decided to stick with what works and honed in on a specific product line, offering unique features to its standard enclosed trailer line. They have been very successful with producing high quality trailers since they produced the first trailer in 2017.

Today rock solid cargo has a 40 acre production plant in Douglas, GA in which it has had to expand a few times.

Co-Owner Caleb Wright spoke to NATDA Magazine when they were a featured dealer in a recent article. He explained their humble beginnings and how the company has grown to be the fastest growing cargo trailer manufacturer and won an award from Statistical Surveys, Inc for the highest percentage increase in sales for enclosed trailers in 2018 – 2019.

Who Owns Rock Solid Cargo

The Wright family owns Rock Solid Cargo. Tony Wright is the President and General Manager of Rock Solid Cargo. His son Caleb Wright is Co-Owner. Tony was in the cargo trailer industry in management for many years before he and his son started Rock Solid Cargo. 

Rock Solid Cargos First Manufacturing Plant

The main office and manufacturing facility is located in Douglas, Ga. It employs over 200 locals from the community, making a huge economical impact on the Douglas community. Even though the community has gone through some economic turmoil, Rock Solid Cargo stands strong in the industry and its commitment to producing the best enclosed cargo trailers available on the market. 

Does Rock Solid Cargo Sell to the Public

Rock Solid Cargo only works directly with authorized dealers, who stock and sell to the public. Rock Solid Cargo does not sell directly to the public, only to their dealer base. Rock Solid sales reps are dedicated and loyal to their authorized dealers. They help them through every step of the trailer stocking process, from manufacturing any specialty trailers, to delivery, to any warranty claims.
